for the inhabitants of Etruria or Tyrrhenia, "friendship" was considered 'property'~   the Etruscans deeply believed that life without friends is a cursed life, where sorrows are magnified and joys dissipated~   women and men were looking since childhood for those who will give them a helping hand when they need it, will be able to trust them in good and in difficult times and will have faith and patience for them~   for the Etruscans, the dog (kyon) was a symbol of friendship, which is why it is depicted in many statue complexes, mosaics and silver coins, ‘kynia’, found in the area~   it is said that the Etruscans gave ‘kynia’ in exchange for friendship and for this reason, this coin had no exchange value, yet was considered very valuable to those who possessed it~   to date, an extremely small number of such silver coins worth 2000, 20 and 4 ‘kynia’ have been found, which unfortunately are illegally traded among collectors and are not exhibited in the museums of Italy or other countries~
